This effort will involve a major makeover of our circa 2018 website to bring it in line with current design practices.
The changes anticipated include:
Revision of the menu structure
Rework of a lot of the content to be more concise & to the point
Adoption of a consistent page structure
Addition of quality graphics as appropriate to enhance the looks of the site
Addition of a large slider on the home page
Of course, the result should be a fully responsive website

Specific Questions
What Word Press themes would you suggest that would best meet our goals? Cost?
Links to samples of those themes?
Our current site seems slow. Is this common for Wordpress sites?
We wish to maintain our existing domain name and have the new site continue with the same hosting service. Is it possible to develop the new site in this manner and not confuse site visitors with our work in progress?
Our current site has some "add ins" that are integral to the operation of the club. Will the suggested themes accomodate these add ins without the need to rework them?
On the home page, can a menu item link to a position on that same page?
We have a number of folks in the organization who will be responsible for periodically updating content. We would prefer that these individuals have the ability to do so directly rather than going through a single individual.
We would like to include a professional looking slider so that we may display the best recent photos taken by our members. The manner of updating these is a concern. Cost?
